Production Engineer

A little bit about the role...
Due to growth an British Offsite we are recruiting for Production Engineer. You responsible for overseeing and improving manufacturing processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective production. Working closely with engineering teams to develop and implement strategies that enhance production quality, safety, and efficiency.

The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Supervise and optimise manufacturing processes.

Develop and implement cost-effective equipment modifications.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Investigate and troubleshoot production issues.

Coordinate with other engineers, suppliers, and customers to solve quality issues.

Accountable for the continuous improvement process and delivering to key performance indicators.

Maintain and calibrate technical equipment.

Train and supervise team members on new production processes and equipment.

Requirements:
- HNC or equivalent level qualification.
- Relevant experience in the engineering field.
- Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Great attention to detail and organisational skills.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience with OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) systems.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
